Lukashenko calific\u00f3 a la integraci\u00f3n como una \u00abmisi\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica\u00bb que \u00abse cumplir\u00e1 con dignidad\u00bb, cuando pronunci\u00f3 un discurso en el Consejo de la Federaci\u00f3n, la c\u00e1mara alta del Parlamento ruso. Rusia y Bielorrusia podr\u00edan formar un Parlamento \u00fanico si ambos pa\u00edses estuvieran preparados. Al hablar sobre la posibilidad de que Bielorrusia llegue a formar parte de Rusia, Lukashenko dijo que es \u00abimprobable que esto ocurra en el futuro cercano\u00bb. \u00abDebemos proceder serenamente, paso a paso&#8230; como lo estamos haciendo ahora\u00bb, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.
